National School Counselor Week

February 4-8, 2019

I love how this simple hashtag can connect us all as school counselors across the country this week to come together to celebrate our work and student impact. This week I took part in the National School Counseling Week Photo Challenge. I wanted to share some of my photos and signs with you from this week. I love my students and my job.

I have learned too many things in my profession to list, but this is one of the most important.

J.K. Rowling is my all time favorite person! Not only did she write my favorite books of all time, but she can say things that are so true and inspiring!

Growth or change is hard, but so is failure. Choose which one you would rather have.

About Me

I am an elementary school counselor in small town in Mississippi. I have have a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NCSC).

I absolutely adore my students, and they inspire me each and every day. I believe that a school counselor’s job is one of the most difficult, yet most rewarding professions in the world.

As a school counselor, I find it encouraging when resources are shared that benefit my students and parents. I want to share with you all the resources that I have found beneficial, and hopefully you will find them useful as well. Thank you for all you do each and every day to make your students and this world a better place!
